Heyo, peeps! :P While I was reading some pages, I came across that one image for Jamie's monster list (shown above), and I've noticed that some of the monsters actually do exist, but in the books or usually released on W.J's instagram.
Here's the list, including what I've found. Feel free to add in your own observations and theories :)
❌ = Nonexistent/Seeming nonexistent/Never before seen, but evidence proves against it. Please provide your reasoning.
✔ = Exists/Confirmed by W.J (official statement, in his artwork, or on his social media) and has a page on this Wiki. Please provide your evidence.
🤞 = Most likely exists based off evidence of related monsters similar to it. Please provide your reasoning.
❓ = Not enough information available for an accurate guess. Please provide your reasoning.
The Frankenstein
Jamie's verdict: ❌
My verdict: ❓ - ✔ Reasoning: There's no indisputable evidence to suggest this as of yet, however, given that North for sure has made a robot that can follow commands, even if it's void of emotion, it could be possible for someone to create life like this, after all, MiM resurrected Jack in the pond, which could be used as evidence for "creating" life as well, or at least be considered as kickstarting it again. Plus, given the existence of Vampires and Yeti's (evidence for these provided below), it could very well exist. Perhaps someone like Mim or a powerful wizard (like the likes of Ombric, there could be others still out there like him) would have the abilities to do this? Ombric did make the Spirit of the Forest, so he might even be able to do this already. Jamie out-ruled this one, but there is some amount of possibility behind this, and besides, he wouldn't exactly know for sure.
Also, it should be noted that W.J said this on his instagram:

"heybilljoyce The Frankenstein monster is the patron saint of Halloween. Of all the creatures we celebrate or choose to become for that one transformative night, Frankenstein is the most human, the most childlike. He is all our childhood fears come true. He is rejected. Homeless. Unloved. Ugly. Hungry. And so alone. He just wants to know right from wrong, how things work and how to not be hated. He wants friends and family and most of all to loved. He is giant child. His frustrations, his constant failures bring out a childish rage that we all understand and even cheer. Though his heart has been recently purloined from the freshly deceased he steals our childhood affections. He has our sympathy. He wins our heart and undying love. He humanizes Halloween. But Halloween is like Frankenstein, cobbled together from so many donors. The novel by Mary Shelly is 200 years old. Oddly enough the ghost of Walt Disney also drifts through the evenings DNA. His Headless Horseman and his Night on Bald Mountain are part of the ever evolving symphony. I love Halloween. I love that it keeps evolving. I love turning my house into a ghoul crowded movie set. I love that for one enchanted night children become monsters and grownups stop being monsters and turn back into children. Well, sorta. Happy Halloween everyone!!! #inktober #inktober2018 #halloween2018 #halloweenart #frankenstein #moviemonsters #librariansofinstagram #maryshelley #waltdisney #inktoberday30"
The Ghost
Jamie's verdict: ✔
My verdict: ✔ Evidence: Jamie is certainly correct about this one! The Three Little Scaries are ghost friends of Jack Frost, revealed on W.J's instagram.
The Alien
Jamie's verdict: ✔
My verdict: ✔ Evidence: Once again, Jamie is correct. Now, let it be VERY clear and known now that I am considering "aliens" as any being, living or spirit, that is not an inhabitant on Earth. This includes the moon, but also anyone traveling through or inhabiting any general area of space outside the Earth. If you have different standards for this classification or debates based off of where the examples I'm about to list live, feel absolutely free to mention them! Onto my evidence!
Now, to begin with, the most obvious aliens would be the inhabitants of the moon. That being:
Other species are:
- Lunar Moths
- Moonmice
- Glowworms
- Moonbeams
- And even Moonbots
Just reading about The Golden Age also proves the alien life, even the Dream Pirates that traveled through space! Not to mention consolations like Typhan!
The Bigfoot
Jamie's verdict: ✔
My verdict: 🤞 Reasoning: They seem like they could be similar to or related to the Yeti, maybe even the same creature but called a different name? The images for the Yeti and Bigfoot are different on his poster, though.
The Sea Monster
Jamie's verdict: ❓
My verdict: ❓ - ✔ Reasoning: Considering Mermaids exist. Also, Lermantoff Serpent seems similar, and the Sea Turtle, Sea Shells and even Kailash could all be used as forms of evidence to similar beings.
The Mummy
Jamie's verdict: ✔
My verdict: ❓ - ❌ Reasoning: I have no idea why Jamie check-marked this, I don't have literally any evidence, unless I'm missing something? XD
The Yeti
Jamie's verdict: ❓
My verdict: ✔ Evidence: The Yetis in North's Workshop. There's really no debating with this one, they can even have names, like Phil.
The Chupacabra(?) I may have misread this, it's hard to tell from the quality of the image....
Jamie's verdict: ❓
My verdict: ❓ Reasoning: They could be similar to the Pooka, or really any other species I've listed already, or even the Groundhog. However, whether they would talk like Bunny and some others can, I don't know.
The Robot
Jamie's verdict: ❓
My verdict: ✔ Reasoning: I'm not sure how robots count as monsters, but okay XD Anyways, robots:
The Vampire
Jamie's verdict: ❓
My verdict: ✔ Reasoning: Skreeklavic Shadowbent
Other confirmed species and/or monsters:
- Werewolves
- Winter Spirits
- Other Spirits (Pitch Black)
- Pooka (E. Aster Bunnymund)
- Sister of Flight
- Tooth Fairies and the European Mice
- Elves
- Warrior Eggs
- Flying Reindeer
- Fearlings, Nightmare Men, Nightmares, and so on (there are literally so many you wouldn't believe it XD XD)
- Speaking Monkeys
- Speaking Insects
- The Bear
- Flying Elephants
There's even a tree which absorbs sadness.
That's all for now!
