Monty is one of Jamie's friends. He is seen to be a close friend of Pippa's since both of them are seen playing in the snow. He also lives next door to Pippa.

- In the credits when the MiniFairies bring Monty home, his mother is seen waking up and getting out of bed. The MiniFairies also brushed his teeth without him ever waking up.
- In the climax of the movie before they were about to fight Pitch, Monty screamed and ran behind Jamie, his friends and the guardians. Toothiana lowered a little and opened her arms, under the impression that Monty would go to her so she could protect him, but then he ignored her and ran past her without a backwards glance.
