So i have been looking around and i find many different answers but does anyone know How tall Jack Frost is and how tall his staff is?
What's on your mind?
As of the site wide UCP update, which this Wiki has already completed, I have been informed by Staff that the Profile fields location (“I live in ___”), birthday (“I was born on ___”), occupation (“My occupation is ___”), gender (“I am ___”) and Wikis you’ve contributed to (“My favorite Wikis ___x4”) have been removed and will not return. You may still add your name (“aka ___”), a new feature called Bio and links to your Facebook, Twitter, Discord and website, but that is it, just those links, your name and bio.
Even though you just lost a big chunk of your Profile, you can recover it. Take the previous fields and add them in bio, so instead of filling out the space that said “What’s your occupation?” and just entering your occupation like before, you would edit bio, write “My occupation is” and then fill in that. You would have to add two lines between each field and have it in order of location, birthday, occupation and gender to have the same appearance as before. I know this is more difficult, but Staff isn’t making this easy for us. This is what Skye and I have opted to do. One good thing, probably the only good thing, is that you can add to bio as well, before or after, or without the fields at all.
If you have any questions, feel free to ask in this Thread.

Hi all! I have an awesome update regarding the Unified Community Platform (UCP). As a reminder, the UCP is a new unified platform giving users the up-to-date MediaWiki experience including the latest features! More can be found here as a reminder.
In terms of new updates, Fandom staff posted three staff blogs:
- Unified Community Platform: The Vision, Purpose, and Process - This update provides a clearer idea as to the end goals of the platform. This includes mobile editing, latest features, customization options - and more! Mobile editing will be an especially popular addition, given the rising number of mobile users across Fandom.
- Creating new wikis on the Unified Community Platform - Fandom is now allowing users to create new communities on the UCP! Users will be able to get a first look at the new platform. The wiki creation process will also aim to prevent duplicate wikis being created, allowing for users to contribute to active communities and be part of a Fandom project viewed by massive amounts of passionate fans!
- Profile and Message Wall on the Unified Community Platform - Profiles are getting an update on the UCP, with a cleaner design and also more freedom for users to express themselves. More fields have been added and you can now add a banner image like you can on Twitter and other social media sites. Message Wall is also receiving a lift, getting a cleaner design more in line with Discussions to keep things consistent.
I'm here to let you know that staff have exciting plans for the future of video on Fandom, including the future of what was Featured Video (FV) and what is replacing it.
A replacement for FV, titled The Loop, is set to be a mini-show that will be different for each vertical, highlighting the latest news from topics relating to that vertical. The best bit? These videos will use wiki articles and will encourage users to visit the wikis featured in the videos to find out more.
As a new episode of The Loop will be released weekly, you will see a wide variety of wikis of featured so there is every chance yours will be featured too!
Please see the latest staff blog for more details and feel free to ask me any questions!
Secondly, staff posted a blog about Fandom in 2019 and the amazing things achieved! Here's to a great 2020. :)
Hi guys! Fandom staff posted two important and exciting blogs recently which I wanted to make you aware of!
- Global taxonomy
The title sounds really fancy and complicated, but this boils down to Fandom recommending content you want to see. Fandom has received feedback from users who are receiving recommendations to visit certain wikis they are not interested in.
With this data driven approach, users on a wiki will receive recommendations for new communities to visit based on what typical readers of that subject are interested in. That way you can attract like-minded users to your community and you get to visit other wikis you are interested in!
Please do read the blog for more information. If you have any questions on this, please feel free to let me know!
- Templates and scripting
The blog is packed with details so please do give it a read! Also feel free to ask me any questions.
I think Pitch black still slightly at least cares for Emily, like his life before becoming Pitch revolved around his family and I don't think it completely wiped away when he became Pitch. If it did then Pitch would have no problem fighting Emily and making Kathrine his darkling princess against Emily's wishes.
As I'm sure we all know, Wikia has decided to rebrand itself as FANDOM/Fandom and has already begun changing all Wiki URLs to .fandom.com from .wikia.com. This Wiki has already been affected by this change (the RP Wiki has not, however), as shown by a banner at the top of the screen not too long ago. This change will soon be in effect on all Wikis across the network.
Now Wikia(/FANDOM) has announced that the highlight option on Forums will soon be retired in favour of their new Announcements feature. This means that Forum posts will no longer be able to be highlighted and shown in everyone's notifications upon entering that Wiki. Instead, Admins and Discussions Moderators (so Carlos, Skye and I, to be specific) will have to use Announcements with a link to the Forum post. *Takes deep breath* *SIGHS* OKAY, SO this is a bit of a problem -_- For one, Forum Highlights are short and sweet, you simply make a post (or go to a post that needs to be highlighted) and, well, highlight it. It shows up for everyone who enters the Wiki and isn't intrusive if you aren't on that Wiki at the time. Announcements get sent to everyone who has done anything (comment, edit, make a blog post, upvote a Discussions post) on that Wiki within the last two months. Yes, anyone who has done anything automatically gets a notification for that Announcement. This may not seem like a problem at first, but here's the thing: You can not opt out of Announcements easily. There is no default disable button, and unless you know a bit about coding and Dev Wiki you seemingly can not disable it. I've seen this become a problem on some popular Wikis where it's actually started arguments because someone didn't want to be notified every week for two months for a Wiki they commented on one time ever. You have to go to your personal JS and add a code from Dev Wiki to disable it. As you can probably imagine by now, this is inherently bad because not everyone, and especially not new Users know how to code on Wikia/FANDOM and that will make this change very confusing to some people.
I will say here and now, however, that if anyone needs help with this or you see in the future that this becomes an issue and someone needs help disabling pesky notifications to just send me a message and I'll guide them through the process. I'm sure Carlos would also be open to help people out with this, but he hasn't been as active as usual and I'm not sure if he's up to date with Staff changes and how to disable them.
Secondly, another way that Highlights and Announcements are fundamentally different is how they expire and how many you can have going at once. As explained above, highlights are short and sweet, very simple. Forum posts get highlighted, only people on the Wiki at that time see it, it doesn't intrude onto other Wikis, and it expires in a week or can be unhighlighted before then. Announcements? They expire in a month and can be expired by an Admin or Discussions Mod before then. Now here's the catch: You can only have one Announcement at a time. *Takes a deep breath* *SIGHS* With Highlights you can have many going at the same time, with Announcements you can only have one leading to only one link at a time. That is unbelievably inconvenient -_- Now we would have to make a post, link it in Announcements, wait for everyone to see it and comment, expire it manually, make another post, link it in Announcements again and do the whole process over and over and over if we want to have multiple important threads going at the same time.
...*Sighs* Just...Ugh, Wikia what are you even doing?? T,T
Anyways...If anyone has any questions or anything, I'm highlighting this thread (probably for the last time ever) and will be on standby.
Thanks for the read,
Heyo, peeps! :P While I was reading some pages, I came across that one image for Jamie's monster list (shown above), and I've noticed that some of the monsters actually do exist, but in the books or usually released on W.J's instagram.
Here's the list, including what I've found. Feel free to add in your own observations and theories :)
❌ = Nonexistent/Seeming nonexistent/Never before seen, but evidence proves against it. Please provide your reasoning.
✔ = Exists/Confirmed by W.J (official statement, in his artwork, or on his social media) and has a page on this Wiki. Please provide your evidence.
🤞 = Most likely exists based off evidence of related monsters similar to it. Please provide your reasoning.
❓ = Not enough information available for an accurate guess. Please provide your reasoning.
Jamie's verdict: ❌
My verdict: ❓ - ✔ Reasoning: There's no indisputable evidence to suggest this as of yet, however, given that North for sure has made a robot that can follow commands, even if it's void of emotion, it could be possible for someone to create life like this, after all, MiM resurrected Jack in the pond, which could be used as evidence for "creating" life as well, or at least be considered as kickstarting it again. Plus, given the existence of Vampires and Yeti's (evidence for these provided below), it could very well exist. Perhaps someone like Mim or a powerful wizard (like the likes of Ombric, there could be others still out there like him) would have the abilities to do this? Ombric did make the Spirit of the Forest, so he might even be able to do this already. Jamie out-ruled this one, but there is some amount of possibility behind this, and besides, he wouldn't exactly know for sure.
Also, it should be noted that W.J said this on his instagram:
"heybilljoyce The Frankenstein monster is the patron saint of Halloween. Of all the creatures we celebrate or choose to become for that one transformative night, Frankenstein is the most human, the most childlike. He is all our childhood fears come true. He is rejected. Homeless. Unloved. Ugly. Hungry. And so alone. He just wants to know right from wrong, how things work and how to not be hated. He wants friends and family and most of all to loved. He is giant child. His frustrations, his constant failures bring out a childish rage that we all understand and even cheer. Though his heart has been recently purloined from the freshly deceased he steals our childhood affections. He has our sympathy. He wins our heart and undying love. He humanizes Halloween. But Halloween is like Frankenstein, cobbled together from so many donors. The novel by Mary Shelly is 200 years old. Oddly enough the ghost of Walt Disney also drifts through the evenings DNA. His Headless Horseman and his Night on Bald Mountain are part of the ever evolving symphony. I love Halloween. I love that it keeps evolving. I love turning my house into a ghoul crowded movie set. I love that for one enchanted night children become monsters and grownups stop being monsters and turn back into children. Well, sorta. Happy Halloween everyone!!! #inktober #inktober2018 #halloween2018 #halloweenart #frankenstein #moviemonsters #librariansofinstagram #maryshelley #waltdisney #inktoberday30"
Jamie's verdict: ✔
My verdict: ✔ Evidence: Jamie is certainly correct about this one! The Three Little Scaries are ghost friends of Jack Frost, revealed on W.J's instagram.
Jamie's verdict: ✔
My verdict: ✔ Evidence: Once again, Jamie is correct. Now, let it be VERY clear and known now that I am considering "aliens" as any being, living or spirit, that is not an inhabitant on Earth. This includes the moon, but also anyone traveling through or inhabiting any general area of space outside the Earth. If you have different standards for this classification or debates based off of where the examples I'm about to list live, feel absolutely free to mention them! Onto my evidence!
Now, to begin with, the most obvious aliens would be the inhabitants of the moon. That being:
Other species are:
Jamie's verdict: ✔
My verdict: 🤞 Reasoning: They seem like they could be similar to or related to the Yeti, maybe even the same creature but called a different name? The images for the Yeti and Bigfoot are different on his poster, though.
The Sea Monster
Jamie's verdict: ❓
My verdict: ❓ - ✔ Reasoning: Considering Mermaids exist. Also, Lermantoff Serpent seems similar, and the Sea Turtle, Sea Shells and even Kailash could all be used as forms of evidence to similar beings.
Jamie's verdict: ✔
My verdict: ❓ - ❌ Reasoning: I have no idea why Jamie check-marked this, I don't have literally any evidence, unless I'm missing something? XD
Jamie's verdict: ❓
The Chupacabra(?) I may have misread this, it's hard to tell from the quality of the image....
Jamie's verdict: ❓
My verdict: ❓ Reasoning: They could be similar to the Pooka, or really any other species I've listed already, or even the Groundhog. However, whether they would talk like Bunny and some others can, I don't know.
Jamie's verdict: ❓
My verdict: ✔ Reasoning: I'm not sure how robots count as monsters, but okay XD Anyways, robots:
Jamie's verdict: ❓
My verdict: ✔ Reasoning: Skreeklavic Shadowbent
Other confirmed species and/or monsters:
- Winter Spirits
- Other Spirits (Pitch Black)
- Pooka (E. Aster Bunnymund)
- Sister of Flight
- Tooth Fairies and the European Mice
- Warrior Eggs
- Flying Reindeer
- Fearlings, Nightmare Men, Nightmares, and so on (there are literally so many you wouldn't believe it XD XD)
- Speaking Monkeys
- Speaking Insects
- The Bear
- Flying Elephants
There's even a tree which absorbs sadness.
That's all for now!
Firstly, don't get your hopes up. It hasn't been officially confirmed by Dreamworks but the writer of the Guardians universe, the incredibly talented William Joyce, has discreetly hinted at something RotG related on his Twitter, courtsy of Twitter user BryanLeoChi95 who tweeted this:
And what do you know the first reply is William Joyce who replies with this;
Hopefully we get something in the Rise of the Guardians movie verse soon? Maybe, and although it hurts saying this, but maybe we'll get some sort of announcement to a sequel, tv show, anything in the 2020s. Joyce is busy on his latest Guardians of Childhood book Jack Frost: The End Becomes the Beginning, a movie he is currently working on with his studio and then another book so we'll probably not get any news in the rest of 2018 or 2019, more importantly Dreamworks has films planned until 2021 with two films each year now. So...after 2021?
If you don't know, Dreamworks was bought by NBCUniversal. In June 2016, the chief of the company Steve Burkes discussed plans to revive other franchises created by Dreamworks in the past like Shrek. Maybe Rise of the Guardians in one of them?
But getting back on track, I thought this discussion page will be about updating everyone on the progress of Rise of the Guardians 2 or anything else in that movie verse (tv show etc). If there's news from William, Dreamworks or anywhere else, you'll all be notified through me on this page if I can get it confirmed.
But we may get something soon, especially since both William Joyce and the director or RotG, Peter Ramsey, are on board:
These tweets were all retweeted this year, more so then any other year people have asked, so...?
Which versions of the Guardians do you prefer? Why or why not? For me, both are awesome but some versions have an edge over others imo.
1. The guardians as awhole: tie, but the Bookteam have the edge because they are a larger and ultimately more unified grourp. They can literally share thoughts.
2. North: Tie, with no edge given. I'll have to wait until the final book and see BookNorth in action as Santa before I can decide.
3. Bunny: Tie with Bookbunny having a slight edge in terms of abilites.
4. Tooth: Booktooth wins out as she is much cooler than in the film.
5. Sandy: tie
6. Pitch: Bookverse wins no question. He's just cooler all around.
7. Mim: tie
8. Yeti: bookverse yeti seem smarter.
9. Elves: Bookverse elves are much smarter.
10. Jack Frost: Don't know enough Bookjack to make the call.
What does everyone think?
I know it is a minor detail... but at the final climax... Jamie and some of his friends run around barefoot or not in the best clothing to run outside at night when it is that cold... somehow the cold doesn't bother them one bit.
Even Jack Frost... when he was still alive he went barefoot even on ice.
I tried that and I didn't even last for a few minutes before I'd pussy out.
im posting this as a topic as a clearer place to post the requests.
in the "other potential guardians" topic i made an offer to draw any guardian ideas people came up with if they wanted it.
i will be doing this without charging anything provided it is just the character.
all i will need are details about the guardian you have in mind;
theme, general attire, attitude, particular looks or aesthetics you want or any features of the character, the more detail you cna give will give me a lot more to work with.
i will be posting anything i draw on my deviantart page but will also link/embed the image on here as well.
I want to know if Pitch really know my deepest fears. If he replies to these and tells me what they are, i'll be happy as but if he doesn't than i'll won't be happy.
